We bought this lovely unit to save space as our CD collection was took up quite a bit of room. It arrived well packed but on assembly I found the cam nuts damaged some of the parts as I screwed them in. I contacted TechStyle via email to tell them and sent photos. They immediately responded with an apology and asked which parts I needed replacing. I replied stating what I needed and again, they responded immediately informing me they were being packed and sent out that night. They arrived within a couple of days and this time everything fitted with a problem. Wonderful service.
The unit looks lovely but I would advise you not to fill the doors up with Cds as the weight can effect how the doors hang. I will be fitting stronger hinges at some point. Other than that it is very simple to assemble.

I am in my mid-sixties with a shoulder problem, believe it or not this was only the second time I have constructed a flatpack on my own, yet it took me just over an hour and a half.(My first one took over seven hours). What I like was that all the small pieces, Hinges, Door Handles etc are in their own individual packets complete with screws, this makes it so much easier. Why don't they number the wooden pieces, this would speed things even more. When constructed it looks really good and is very useful in hiding a lot of dvds/blu-rays. I managed to get 272 dvds,including a couple of box sets also several cds. This may be a bit pricey but is well worth it.

After seeing other reviews saying how badly designed this product is, I contacted the manufacturer/seller to see what they’d say.

They said everything would be fine. They sell these in large volumes.

The reality? It definitely isn’t ok.

The shelves bowed as soon as any weight was added. I’ve had to remove most shelves and just stack DVD’s on the thicker shelves that can’t be removed. And the entire unit is being pulled forwards because of the weight of the doors.

The magnetic strip that keeps the doors shut is rubbish. They should have put one on top and bottom because after a few weeks the single one fails to work.

When you fill the doors with CD’s, they no longer open proberly. They scrape along the bottom of the unit as you open them.

There’s nothing else like this on the market that I could find which is why I took a chance.

But the unit is slowly collapsing before my very eyes.

Clearly the manufacturer doesn’t care about its customers considering they haven’t addressed any of the issues mentioned in these reviews.

Complete waste of money!

Very flimsy. If this item was less than a quarter full od CDs, it still wouldn't be man enough! I would perhaps expect this poor quality if it had been around £30-£40 but I certainly expected a whole lot more for this price! It looks like I will have to dismantle it and reinforce it myself so I can use it. I had previously considered constructing my own storage unit but this looked to be a quality product so I thought I would save time. Now it will take me even longer to rebuild/strengthen this inferior item. What a disappointment! Won't be shopping with this vendor again.
