We use this bin for our recycling outside our back door to replace the open top box we previously used which was not practical when it rained!
This is perfect and very satisfying to put the recycling into in comparison with what we had before! The contents stays mostly dry when it rains, we find when the lid is lifted the rain from the lid can run inside, but someone else’s review on here mentioned the same issue and they managed to invent a solution to help prevent this.
The bin seems substantial in size and good quality. Would recommend.

Item was broken on arrival, was wrapped in 2 black bags and part bubble wrap and did have fragile on it, so thought damaged in transit, but when I looked inside packaging not all the broken pieces was inside the packing so must have been broken before being packed. Have now put lots of black tape to where bits had broken off. It's not watertight. Had atleast an inch of water at the bottom coming in through the sides of the lid flap.

Got this bin for recycling, and it's perfect. Easy to clean, sturdy, a good size, and looks great next to the smaller three pack I got for general waste and other recycling.
I like that the lid stays open rather than having to be held while you put things into it.
The top was stiff to remove the first few times, and I was afraid the plastic would be brittle and crack. Happy to be proved wrong and I highly recommend this item.
