The roots of our bakery trace back to 1936, when Wilfred Charles Lewis, a proud resident of Swansea & Gower, embarked on a journey to create delightful pies for the local community.

Establishing his modest bakery in a lone room on Fleet Street, Sandfields, Wilfred Charles meticulously crafted his pies in sturdy metal tins, allowing them to cool on the pavement just outside.
