These really are cheap tat. I don't honestly know what I was expecting. The lid has already snapped off, only attached with tiny screws. No holes were drilled in the back for mounting. If you do manage to mount them to the wall/shed/tree, they then haven't left enough space for the lid to hinge open. And also, we put ours up, after creating a hole and making a spacer for between the house and the shed, and I have come home to find after some light drizzle, the paint has run! They are definitely not treated and probably not worth the effort I have put in to them. I'm sure I will be replacing them within the next few months. Avoid if you can, unless you don't mind the hassle for the price!
