After using the YCCTEAM Wireless Controller for a few weeks, I can say it’s a pretty solid option if you’re looking for a PS4 controller replacement. Right out of the box, it felt great in my hands – the ergonomic design really works, and even after hours of gaming, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable.
The features are what impressed me most. The dual vibration is spot on and adds a nice touch to games, especially action-heavy ones. The motion controls work as expected, and the touchpad is a nice addition, even though I don’t use it a ton. The built-in audio feature is also super handy if you’re like me and prefer plugging in a headset directly to the controller.
Pairing it with my PS4 was easy, and it also works fine with my PC, which is a big plus. That said, I did have a couple of moments where the connection dropped unexpectedly – not a dealbreaker but definitely a little annoying.
Battery life is decent. I can get a good gaming session in before needing to charge it, and the fact that you can use it while charging is a lifesaver.
Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly alternative to the official controller. It’s not perfect, and I’m not sure how durable it’ll be in the long run, but for now, I’m happy with it. If you’re not looking to spend too much and want a controller that gets the job done, this is a solid pick.
