The strainer spout is fantastic as you can strain off excess water easily and then add a sauce to pasta for a one pot meal. Lightweight. Good quality and with the option of a hanging handle and side clutch handles you have a good option for a variety of heat sources. I use mine on a gasifier solid fuel stove or I'll use a trangia alcohol stove when I need a quick brew.
A must have piece of kit for lightweight but robust backpacking.

I brought this light weight, stainless steel kettle for my hiking / camping trips. It has currently been used on Meths, Gas, Wood burning, Solid & Gel fuel stoves and is giving good service. The only thing that stopped me giving this a 5 star rating is that: Straight out of the box, the spout pouring holes are so small (about 1mm) it takes an eternity to pour out the boiling water! I very carefully drilled out the holes to 3 mm and now it is much better! The measuring scale on the side is also a useful feature! For the price, you will probably not find better! but be aware, unless you drill out the pouring holes...You are in for a bit of a wait!
