But with this dongle, I've had no problems at all and it's a 10th of the price of the other devices. I connected my old 486 laptop to my modern OLED TV to have a game of Doom just like it was 1993 🥳 people who want to connect their retro gear to a modern TV/monitor, this is way to go.

So no output during boot, bios screens, command prompts etc. Making this adapter completely useless for my use case.
