We have been using a similar toilet frame to this for a few years now as my mother is really quite infirm. The one that we have she finds awkward as the crossbar is at the front, where as with this Yornoli one, the crossbar is behind the frame and goes behind the toilet seat. So when I saw that this one was available for testing as an غ Vine Voice reviewer, I thought it would be perfect for her to use.
It is almost perfect, the only problem with it isn't with the frame but rather with our very small room that the toilet is located. The room is about an inch too narrow for the frame to get around the toilet, even with the frame on the absolute smallest size setting. This is so infuriating because the frame would be so much better for my mother than the existing one if the room was just that tiny bit wider. It's not the frames fault, it's the fault of whoever designed this house many decades ago.
The frame itself comes flat packed and you have to assemble it yourself. The instructions say it takes "1 to 2 hours to assemble" but that's a ridiculous over estimate. I had the frame almost assembled in around 20 minutes. The instructions are really clear and easy to understand and all parts are labelled as "1, 2, 3" etc and bolts and knobs are labelled as "A, B, C" and so on. The pictograms showing how the frame is assembled are so easy to follow, so if the language of the person assembling the frame is not English, they should still be able to do it without any problems.
Pricewise this frame is very good value, it's sturdy, the arm rests which are made from a form of foam rubber are extremely comfortable. The rubber feet are sufficiently big enough to take the weight and provide support of whoever is needing to use the frame. I'm still more than happy to award this frame 5 stars even though we are not able to use it, because the frame itself is perfect - it's just our house that is the problem.
