I really get annoyed with flimsy music stands falling over so I’ve been carrying the big substantial ones to orchestra for ages. It’s a real pain, though, carrying the instrument and the bulky stand. This one is just as sturdy and stable but with only half the carrying size! It comes in its bag to make things easier still.
It’s easy to set up, the hinges are reliable, it’s just as sturdy and stable and it’s much easier to carry than the ones that don’t fold. And my magnetic pencil holder clamps on without pulling everything over when you take it off.
I wish they’d been available years ago.
