Great.

Great.
This is the second one we’ve bought. Our first is situated in our garden shed for our garden outdoor cameras. We have a long garden and our internet doesn’t reach for most of the garden so we have a devolo booster in our shed. So it has a different Wi-Fi to the WiFi in our house. As you can’t link different Wi-Fi’s on one Sync Module, we’ve had to buy a second for the two cameras in the house. We have a doorbell and the pan and tilt indoor camera. Having two modules means they are on two tabs as per the photo but that’s ok as they are both on the same app. I have free iCloud for a month but after that I will use a usb card like we have in our first module. For me it’s a waste of money subscribing when the card does the same thing. The module is hanging on an extension right now, but it will go in a regular wall socket when we get round to it. Laziness!!! Ha!

The Blink Add-On Sync Module 2 has been a fantastic enhancement to my Blink security system! Setting it up was a breeze; I simply plugged it in and followed the easy instructions in the app. This module has significantly expanded the range and functionality of my Blink cameras, allowing for seamless connectivity and improved performance.

I love that it supports local video storage, which gives me peace of mind knowing my footage is backed up. The responsiveness of the system has improved as well; I receive alerts promptly, and the video quality is great.

If you already have Blink cameras, I highly recommend adding this module to your setup. It’s a reliable upgrade that maximizes the effectiveness of your home security system!

This little gadget does, eventually, save you money, but it may take you a year and a half to two years to see that benefit. It's considerably smaller than I thought it would be, but allows you to plug in different sized USB flash drives. Connecting it up while not overly complicated was a challenge for my awful phone, but overall, so far so good.

Bought it to replace a faulty Sync module. Easy to set up, at first it was fine but after two days kept going offline and unable to reset straight away. Help desk was useless..
Needed it to monitor a frail 86 year old lady with dementia from falls in her own home and I live nearby.
I’ve gone elsewhere for some reliability and peace of mind.

Great if you have blink outdoors cameras or even a blink indoor camera. Keeps the cost down, no subscription. Just plug a USB drive in and forget about it. Plug and play. You can access all your video footage from your blink app while you are away. I brought a 250GB flash drive I've not had to delete one video yet. Of course you don't have to buy a 250 gig flash drive, but they have come down alot now. If you own any blink products I would recommend getting this as well.

If you looking to get the Sync 2 module to avoid the cloud subscription, they do not support you or admit it actually works. With a perfectly set up system, local Sync 2 and 2 blink mini camera, everything showed as configured and working 100% in the blink app, the cameras only notify you and will not save video clips to the local Sync 2 with 64Gb added USB stick as stipulated. The Sync 2 shows 2 camera connected, the USB stick formatted correctly (FATex) and the cameras working with the app , jumping in to look as needed, BUT. They will push you to use the CLOUD service free for 30 days. If you do this then find you have to stay on subscription, you will miss the return window with غ, they are doing this deliberately to lock in the subscription as the Sync 2 model using LOCAL storage does not work. There are loads of redit posts saying the same thing. You have been warned, if you want to use these in LOCAL not CLOUD mode, you will not get it working, nor will support actually help, they will blame every electronics item in your house as causing the problem...
