Best quality wood, is pine, but is very strong, very strong, is the best furniture i put together in my life. Back home, i used to work for a furniture shop, and all day i assemble ikea kind of furniture. But you can t compare this corona mexican style with ikea furniture.This is the mercedes benz of furniture, and price is great. Is made in brazil and the quality is amazing.Is plain wood waxed, with special wax, a good feature, because in time if you want it re waxed is very easy to be done and the drawer looks like new after. One think you need to buy when you put it together, is the pva glue or wood glue. All joints and all wood bits they must be put together with glue. Is not any point to try assemble furniture if you don t have wood glue. The top of the drawer must be glued as well and the drawers face put glue on any joint. This furniture is made with love so is necessar to work with care. As well you have some screws to fit so if you can borrow an electric screwdriver is even better, if not you can do it with your hand, like me i do it. Me i am very, sorry verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry happy with my purchase and i will recommend to all my friends. I can promise you any time i need furniture for my house this is my first choice. Is shame you can give just 5 stars, i think this worth 10 stars at least, and the delivery was great, i am very very happy. If you buy this you will never regret it, this furniture it will easy, easy last 20 years, if not more, thank you very much for this great product.
