Assembly- straight forward even though the instructions weren't always worded well! Once assembled the storage lift was difficult to close- but it closed in the end with the mattress on top and a forceful push down.

Sturdiness- brilliant, no squeaking.

Aesthetics- really dark brown, almost black but looks lovely in my bedroom.

Storage- it's a good space, and help makes the bedroom less cluttered.

It took my partner and I about 2 1/2 hours to put together and we didn't argue at all (much) but considering its a lift up ottoman bed, and I was really apprehensive about putting it together - it went very smoothly. I was pleased with the space that the bed has underneath - I had been warned about this in cheaper beds. Also the headboard and footer are really well made and comfortable too.
All in all - its a great buy. You can pay more if you want to but I'm not convinced you'll get anything any better.

Arrived decently packaged, had a small scratch from transport on the headboard, but not big enough for me to kick up a fuss. Assembly took me about 3 hours by myself and in a small room. The bed looks the part with loads of storage and it is relatively easy to open and close. Just wish the slats were of better quality and with less spacing between them. For what you pay for though its great.

Ordered around 8 beds in total now, from a few sellers, but have to say they are perfect for tenants (as is the case with this one) as they get to store a lot of items under the bed and also useful for families with kids, you can literally hide all kids clothing under the bed, I mean literally hundreds of separate clothing items if you organise well can be stored and hidden away with easy and quick access. The faux leather is what it is, have 2 kids in the house and they have never scratched it so far and after using my first bed for more than a year, not a single mark on the faux leather, can't complain there.
Because of the gas lift under the bed, the storage space can be used everyday, just easy compared to the drawer types where you have to pull the drawer out to take stuff from storage.

I was a little concerned before ordering this as it seemed quite cheap for what it was. I have to say having built it and my son having slept on it for a few weeks now it is a suprisingly good bed. The actual build was very easy I did it on my own with minimal assistance and everything felt really well put together once built. I would recommend this bed. i can't say how long it will last but think it will do a good few years - well hopefully anyway!
