This is an absolutely brilliant mat. Classic case of you get what you pay for. I have had loads of door mats and they have all been terrible quality and barely lasted a few months. The quality of this mat is outstanding. It's so well made, brilliant non slip bottom, lovely soft top which is very absorbent, it looks nice and the sizes are brilliant, I got it in the large for back doors and standard for front door. I love Lakeland products altogether, the quality is always top notch. I'd much rather pay more to begin with so it lasts and actually does the job than have to keep buying cheap mats over and over again. Highly recommend!

Previously, the coir mat (now outside) left wet footmarks on the kitchen tiles; now at worst, I get just a few damp spots due to the mega absorbency of the Lakeland product.
The slate colour ties in nicely with my floor tiles (see pics) and there's a nice spin off - it's very soft and comfortable under bare feet! As said, a little pricey but for me, well worth the money. Recommended!

Its super absorbent and wet shoes are quickly dried. Its thick and a decent size. I have not tried to wash it yet but have no reason to doubt the reviews.
