    Works well
I was a bit confused about this mop to start with, it said the clean water and dirty water are separated but it was quite hard to understand. Luckily, the QR code on the packaging and on the instruction leaflet links to a Youtube video which explains it all.Basically, the mop has an in-built mechanism to spin when you jig the wraparound sleeve up and down. When you first click it the mop descends to a lower level above the container of clean water (with or without detergent) that sits above the main bucket. You move the sleeve up and down and the clean water sprays onto the mop head. While you keep moving the sleeve up and down the mop head automatically moves itself up to the higher level, where the excess water is flung out to the sides of the main bucket. As the clean water container has a lid and sits in the middle, all the dirty water is flung away from the clean water and hits only the sides of the bucket, where it slides down to collect at the bottom. So basically you end up with clean water in the container, which sits above the dirty water in the bucket. This worked well, and the mopping was quick and easy. It was fast to put the mop in the bucket, move the sleeve up and down and then remove the mop with a head with clean water. The mop head is a fabric circle that is held on with velcro-like bristles, plus four elastic hooks around the outside so it is very securely fastened. I rinsed the mop head fabric and then chucked it in the washing machine. It was actually faster than using a steam mop, and I was pleasantly surprised with the load of dirty water at the end. Due to the spinning design the circular mop head cannot fit into any corners, so you'll need to do those by hand, although one side of the circle does fold so that you can do skirtings easily. The only other thing is that the water container is just a bit too small, I had run out of water by the end of three small rooms. Overall, good to use but I will not be relying on it as my only mop because I really don't want to go around wiping corners by hand!

I nearly returned this because I couldn't figure out how to use. So glad I didn't!
As another reviewer hepfully pointed out, there is a knack to the washing and spinning of the mop. You need to make sure the mop head 'clicks' into place and is at a right angle to the handle. If it doesn't work, I hold with my foot. Then rinsing and spinning is easy, no effort, so much easier than buckets with a foot pedal!
The mop head is absorbent, and has a scrubbing area too. I love that the mop head is never immersed in dirty water, and it's easy to empty - great for someone who's always mopping up after a dog's little accidents. And also leaves floors clean and almost dry.

Love love love this mop! At first I wasn’t sure it was working so checked the ‘dirty’ bucket about half way through...well it was working! Couldn’t believe the muck and the clean bucket still just that - clean. Don’t know why I didn’t get sooner. Only downside is the replacement pads are a little pricey

Bought this when there were no reviews, and no one answering my questions, so had to take a risk on whether to get this new spontex mop, or their previous model ("spontex full action system"). The official YouTube videos of both are helpful, but leave out a lot of details. I'll try to fill those details in now.

The mop head cover is a microfibre with slightly tougher scrubby bits (a bit like a dishwashing sponge). It removed dirt, including sticky food spots, kids paint drips, and baby sick, from the floor very well. It's held on with little 4 elastic loops at the edge and velcro on the flat part of the mop head. It can be washed at 40°. I have not yet found a way to buy additional covers which is very annoying - they really ought to include two in the box. Surely many people will want to be able to wash-one-use-one?

On arrival the mop handle needs to be screwed together to assemble, which is fairly simple, then it's ready to be used.

While rinsing, the mop clicks first into a lower position, where it get sprayed with the clean water while it spins, then it *automatically* clicks into a higher position to spin dry. This is an important point to me, the user doesn't get to decide when the mop head has had enough rinsing with clean water because it's automatic. The rinsing period is very short and I found myself often fiddling with clicking the mop up and down to get it back on the lower setting for a bit more rinsing. I would've preferred if the mop system gave full control over the rinsing and drying to me.

After use, the water in the bottom bucket is dirty and of course the clean water in the top is not, so it seems to be working. I am not sure if I think it cleans the mop head *sufficiently* at each rinsing, but the dirty water indicates it is washing some dirt off at least.

The spinning system works excellently for drying the mop out. I have a wooden floor (engineered wood, with UV hardened oil on the top layer) and did not have any concerns it was getting too wet.

A long term concern. The pumpy bit of the handle clicks into the top of the handle, presumably so it's out of the way while mopping the floor (the instructions are very limited, so one has to guess). I suspect those plastic clips will fatigue and fail in time with such frequent use - they do not look terribly robust to me. However the mop is quite usable without clicking that part to the top so maybe it doesn't matter.

The folding up part is very effective at allowing mopping right into the corners. And it currently lays properly flat against the floor at other times. Again since this feature relies on some plastic flexing, I wonder how it will age, how quickly the material will fatigue, and if it will not lay flat on the floor after some time.

The bucket looks larger and bulkier than I expected from the pictures/video/description, so check measurements if you have space constraints.

The material is mostly plastic, with a metal tubing for the mop handle. I prefer to avoid introducing new plastic to the house, which is currently difficult with mops. I hope this one has been designed to at least last a long time. Reusability for other purposes is limited. The special design of the bucket means it is really only useful with this mop. When one or other eventually fails, pretty much the whole thing will need to be binned and replaced - not ideal. However this mop could be a good choice for someone concerned with reducing their water use, because I was able to mop a surprisingly large area with only one inner bucket of water.

Overall I appreciate spontex's attempts to innovate with this mop. I wanted to love it to the extent I love my cordless vacuum, which truly is a revolution in dry floor cleaning. This mop works adequately, but somewhat falls short of being the "aqua revolution" of its name.

Bought for £39.99 and see it's reduced to £25.05 as I write this review (grrr). A truly revolutionary mop with two covers would be worth the former. This probably isn't.

[Edit: Spontex responded to my enquiry about extra mop head covers a little while ago. They said they intend to make them available for sale in the future, but they are not available yet because this is a new product. I feel quite irritated by this response, because they seem to recognise the need for them and are clearly able to manufacture the covers already, but have still not made them available to early adopters of their product. A little more thoughtfulness might have led early adopters to become advocates for their new system. As it is, I feel more like I paid a premium to become a guinea pig.]

      [Edit - 25 December 2018 - I now have replacement mop heads!!!]

Well what can I say! It doesn’t do what it says on the box the mop head gets damp not wet! Hard to rinse it out as the mop keeps coming off the spinner drives you mad I’ve used it twice biggest waste of £40 I’ve ever spent! Seeing the new advertisement about it with the (extra) added on shows a major change in the actual bucket! Perhaps recall the old ones that don’t work first useless!

It does work, but there are no written instructions to tell you exactly what to do. The subtle difference between rinsing and wetting the sponge proved to be beyond my wife. She simply couldn't do it. NOW I HAVE TO WAS THE FLOOR. So from my wife's point of view, it seems good value for money.

Honestly, the greatest mop and bucket set I’ve ever used. I hated the thought of washing a dirty mop in the clean solution so I bought this. Very easy to use and simple to disassemble to clean. I thought I would find the round mop head a little bit awkward to use but it wasn’t that bad. Also, I think I read some reviews saying that you couldn’t do the “dipping” for longer as it automatically pops up into the wringing position but I found that if you just press the top of the mop down, it won’t pop up. (And I haven’t broken the mechanism yet so I assume it’s ok to do that)

All in all, a good set!

I have seen this for a while on Instagram and people are raving about this mop and bucket system.
Opening the box everything was self explanatory where to go, the only thing I struggled with was to get the mop to spin. At tht top of the handle make sure the arrow is on the unlock symbol this will extend the handle allowing the mop to spin when rinsing.
I couldn't believe my eyes when the bucket of clean was empty and the end result of the dirty water. I am a massive clean freak, I follow Mrs Hinch and Lauracleanaholic on Instagram and was totally shocked with the colour of the dirty water and after all these years I cannot believe I have been cleaning with "dirty water" using my old standard mop and bucket. Absolute game changer.
      Totally recommended.

      Bon lavage 😉

Tried it twice. You have to use a lot of force to spin the mop. It doesn't click smoothly, so you still have to bend over. Mopping on your knees and hands causes less pain. Worst part: the dirt is wiped into the floor instead of being soaked. My water was not dirty. Cleaned the floor on my knees afterwards and dirt came off. Will return this item.

The mop works really well, doing what the promotional videos promise. One advice is not to let the mop dry with the "head" to the top, as this makes water drip into the stick and it rusts the joints, which impacts the spinning function.
