We bought this for a bunk bed rather than a mid sleeper. It fits fine and has held up reasonably well for the last month It doesn't reach the floor, but covers the sleeping compartment of the lower bunk. It covers 3 of the 4 sides of the bed, the panels are all separate, so you can arrange it how you like. You can velcro it on as well as tie it on. My little by loves it.
