Someone has already left a very comprehensive description and photos, so there is little to add. It is very sturdy and looks just like the picture. It’s a bit pricey but I’m sure it will last. There was a delay of several days in the delivery. There are 2 packages (which are quite heavy) and initially only one arrived at the delivery depot. But this was not a problem as the desk was not needed urgently. All in all I am pleased and can recommend.

The Movian Stanberg desk is a left or tight orientable desk corner desk; and it has a modern white/ oak look. The instructions outline how to build the desk/ shelf unit to facilitate left or right orientation. There are a few different styles of this unit - I chose the one that was in stock when I ordered. I quite like the V leg that holds it up - and I dont need any under desk privacy - which the desk doesn't provide in any form. If you are thinking of putting the cabinet back in a visible space; be aware they are white but not especially finished.

It was delivered by two very friendly delivery people; directly to my home office - which is on the first floor. It comes in two boxes; you need to open both packs to start assembly as the instructions and fixings are in one box and the cabinet in the other. The instructions are mostly clear; they aren't in Ikea category but I assembled it alone in just under two hours - the instructions rate it at 90 minutes. You need a small hammer, and a Philips screwdriver. One thing over Ikea- there is a pack of glue for the wooden dowels - though I'm not sure if its latex so if you are allergic play it safe.

I made a mistake on orientation at one point; and found attaching the top of the cabinet a pain whilst keeping everything in place. I also broke a dowel whilst hammering it into place - some dowel holes slipped in easily; others needed force and I ended up drilling it out - thankfully there were some spares.

The cabinet sits on plastic feet; and the wooden v had feet pre-attached. This makes it easy to slide around whilst you are setting it up for work or play. There isn't any cable management though so invest in some if you want a tidy look.

Overall the time to construct it was worthwhile; when assembled it isn't dense - the V aside. The top is rated for 40kg. The drawers are perhaps the area that feels least sturdy; they are held together by a couple of dowels and screws. The bottom of the drawers feels a bit flimsy. The shelf is chipboard but has an excellent wood laminate over it.

I like the look; its just the right size for my new 49" monitor and my Aeron chair fits nicely in the spot.

Reçu hier en 2 colis assez lourd et imposant. Aucun dégâts constatés puisque les colis sont hyper bien conçus.
Des films plastiques sont insérés entre chaque élément du bureau afin de les protéger au mieux, des morceaux de polyester partout découpés sur mesure afin de tout protéger pour le transport.
Une agréable surprise donc pour commencer.

Chaque pièce de ce "puzzle" est repérée par une lettre alphabétique, on a juste à suivre la notice.
Attention au sens de montage, la première moitié de la notice est pour le côté gauche l'autre la partie droite.
Ils indiquent qu'il faut être deux, je l'ai monté seul. Cela m'a pris entre 3 et 4 heures. J'ai pris mon temps afin de ne rien abîmer en manipulant les éléments avec précaution. Faites attention aux entrechocs ça marque facilement.
En ce qui concerne le montage, celui-ci est relativement aisé. Il faut suivre consciencieusement la notice et bien regarder.
Chaque pièce de fourniture est comptée au nombre prêt. Je vous conseille vivement une coupelle en travaillant car il y en a beaucoup et aucun double n'est fourni. Les trous sont parfaitement percés, il n'y a aucun défaut d'usinage. Seul un tournevis cruciforme est requis, la classe. Surtout pas de visseuse !!

Tout s'imbrique pour le mieux. Visser simplement sans vouloir forcer en butée comme certain l'ont fait ...
La colle ne coule pas, c'est une sorte de pâte qu'on peut même manipuler avec les doigts !
Donc on en met pas partout.
Tout a été pensé avec grand soin.

Le bureau une fois fini est d'abord design, bien fini et beau. Il s'intègre parfaitement dans une petite pièce.
Pour vous faire une idée je l'ai mis dans notre chambre à coucher qui fait 10m² seulement.
Il y trouve sa place sans soucis. Mieux qu'espéré.

Les parois à coté des 2 tiroirs sont pré-percées ce qui permet de gérer correctement les câbles électriques et de pouvoir les dissimuler avec une facilité déconcertante.
Le tout est vraiment bien conçu.
Le meuble sent bon le bois, il respire aussi la qualité. On est bien d'une catégorie au-dessus d'un meuble d'une enseigne d'électroménager qu'on a tous en bas de chez soi.
Je suis hyper content du résultat j'avais peur parce qu'il est "cher".

Mais pour ce prix, vous vous offrez un beau bureau, design, robuste, hyper bien pensé dès le début de l'assemblage jusqu'à son utilisation une fois monté. Aucun défaut apparent.

La qualité allemande n'est plus a démontrer.

Zum Glück hat der Hersteller alle Bretter beschriftet. So gibt es keine Missverständnisse und die Gefahr während des Aufbaus das Falsche Brett für einen bestimmten Schritt genommen zu haben sinkt. Vielen Dank dafür!

Der Aufbau gelingt bei etwas handwerklichem Geschick in etwa 1 bis 1,5h.

Zum Glück hat der Hersteller alle Bretter beschriftet. So gibt es keine Missverständnisse und die Gefahr während des Aufbaus das Falsche Brett für einen bestimmten Schritt genommen zu haben sinkt. Vielen Dank dafür!

Der Aufbau gelingt bei etwas handwerklichem Geschick in etwa 1 bis 1,5h.

Der fertige Tisch sieht sehr gut aus und wirkt hochwertig.
