This monitor is sold under a few different brands, like the similarly named Nw759 from Neewer, with the same level of quality but differing prices. This one here is the cheapest I found and is a bargain when you’re getting the savings just for having a different name on the front. A lot of reviews on these will say that when you’re recording video it’ll scream at you because it picks up the mic on the camera and there’s no way to turn the volume down. Even a number of YouTube videos will say the same and suggest putting a headphone jack in to shut it up and one guy said he opened the thing up to disconnect the speaker! But relax, hold the left-arrow button down and low and behold, the volume control appears on-screen. Strangely hard to find, perhaps this appeared on a software update and wasn’t on the guys who tore his apart! (Maybe).
With that resolved, this screen is about as bright as an iPhone 4/5 screen, the daylight cover is easy to apply and the swivel mount is solid and easy to adjust. Good clarity, and works perfectly with my Sony Alpha 6300
