First off, compared to some of the other TIG torch holders available, this is excelllent value. It's sturdy, well made and the magnet has great "grab".

The nut and bolt to hold it together aren't supplied with any washers, so the fit up isn't great. I added a couple of washers to mine and swapped out the nut for a nylon insert locknut.

The other niggle is that the magnet is loose in the base and relies on just its magnetism to stay in place. I have no doubt it will eventually collect lots of metal dust and filings in there which may eventually lead to the magnet wanting to stick itself to your table instead of the torch holder. A tiny spread of epoxy under the magnet now holds mine firmly in place.

Nonetheless, it does the job really well and is great value. A couple of improvements would make it a 5-star product, though no doubt that would also increase the price....
