First impression was that there were so many parts to identify and learn how to use :-/ Next, I read the part of the manual which shows you how to assemble the mixing bowl and blades and connect the bowl to the base. It says turn it until you hear an audible click - but I found that REALLY hard to do! I discovered that it is easier to do if you do it quickly. But getting the bowl off the base is just as hard, especially as the suction feet don't hold the base firm on my kitchen worktop :-/ For that reason alone, I will probably return it....

    We ordered this as we've had numerous large kitchen mixers/blenders and despite paying considerably more than this one they never lasted long and I got fed up of wasting money on a big name machine.
    So far I've been using this for a couple of weeks it's easy to use and clean I use it daily for chopping veg, grating cheese and blending soups and its working great for that and no sign of any issues I doubt it'll last any longer than previous machines but at least its cheap so could replace it and still save money the only slight annoyance is the post that fits in the centre when using the food processor just sits on the base without clipping in so when you're dismantling ready for cleaning it wobbles off easily with the slightest knock I'm pretty sure I'll get used to removing it before I knock it off it's hardly a big deal but annoying nevertheless
    EDIT - 17 months and it's died we used it every day to grate cheese and probably every other day for veg and colslaw plus 2 or 3 times for soup.

    I got a bit of a scare when I was trying out my new processor. The bowl cover would just not slide into place. I recalled reviewers saying they had had the same problem and one broke the cover trying to force it into place.
    I was contemplating returning it when my partner, fiddling with locking the bowl in place on the motor housing suddenly found the solution.
    The lid slid into place easily and everything has worked handsomely since.
    So what was the problem? I think the problem is that while the bowl seems to click in place, it is not correctly aligned. You have to move it so it clicks into its slot with the handle at right angles to the switch rather than vertically aligned.
    I'm making it sound far more complicated than it is. Basically, if the lid doesn't slid in place, don't force it. The issue is the bowl mounting position. Move it a bit and it all dovetails fine.
    Apart from that it's a powerful machine and may need some getting used to. Otherwise very happy with my purchase to replace my trusty old Kenwood which I kabooshed by spilling liquid on the housing and not having the patience to wait for it to dry before switching on.

    I had bought a cheaper processor which broke 1 st time I used so spent a bit more money and got this one.
    Manual could be better but didn’t take long to work it out
    Spindle on first then the bowl
    Suction could’ve been better but does just hold
    Grates really well and slices then you can use the dough blade all in one go
    Very happy with the product and price
    Changing from grate to slicer soon get hang of it and lid bowl will shut easily just need to make sure it’s on properly no need to force it

    I bought this item. I was so chuffed when it came looks great. I can’t tell you how it works as we did not get all the parts to it.
    I have tried to contact the company. Yes they respond stating they can’t replace the ideal but if I forward all the info then they would resolve the problem. Did that nothing. Then again if I forwarded the details they would refund me. Nope nothing. So I now have a machine that is completely useless and I’m out of pocket. Oh they can’t replace it now either they say they are out of stock. But I went on line to buy again and that was not a problem. So nope would not use these people again. They have taken my money and left me with blender that can’t work.
