I was a bit dubious as the NW of Scotland requires being extreme weather proof. However, we have had Gales; Torrential rain; sleet with high winds; Hail with high winds and more difficult than a direct assault, misty drizzle , that gives Skye its Gaelic name. After all that, still bone dry inside. Made sure it was properly weighted down and as a precaution put a breeze block on top the lid where it was most exposed to the strong winds. Given that this unit is only half the cost of others that on the face of it would be guaranteed to remain weatherproof, I am pretty happy with this deal, thinking of getting another for the bins.

When I received this item, one of the hinges on the door had snapped off. Unfortunately, I was halfway through assembling it before I noticed this.
Once the sides are clicked into place, it’s not possible to dismantle them, but ��غ�� are saying they won’t take the product back unless I do. As things stand they have £175 of my money and I have a huge useless item on my lawn. Not happy
….. collection problems finally resolved after two days, but the product has still got too many weak points in the plastic. Not recommended
