I made a mobile sharpening set up for my business using a battery an invertor and a board.
My professional (and expensive) sharpening machine is not a serious power user but its two motors do pull anything up to 5x the power on start up as when it's running. I went to full sine wave. as its as close to mains power as you can get.
I don't want a marginal set up, it has to work each and every time - and it does.
I note that the battery Volt indicator is useful as a need for charge indicator
