This is an excellent buy. I've never owned a tool of this brand before but am now converted.
It's a sturdy solid spade with a good sharp point and the seated edge cuts through old crusted mud, grass edge and roots so easily.
It's a heavy spade but not overly heavy that it's unmanageable. I have fibromyalgia and super sensitive joints because of it, using this spade didn't aggravate the pain.
Size is perfect for me, I'm 5'6 and there isn't any stooping.
Design is very good. All the pieces are welded on super strong. I cannot see any weak points on inspection.
I used it a couple days after it arrived, it went straight into the mud I've struggled with using a standard spade. The border is congested with thick roots but this made short work of them too.
Functional and fairly priced.
