Excellent piece of kit. Very sturdy, doesn't move on carpet in use. Quiet, you can pedal away whilst watching TV in the evening. I like the magnetic resistance, this is what makes it quieter than friction types. Going from setting 1 to 2 makes a significant difference and there are eight settings. On setting eight the resistance is much harder and the unit moves from side to side but still not moving on the carpet. I start on level 1 to warm up then switch to level 2.

It is fairly heavy, I am 69 and can move it with relative ease but need to be careful of my lower back.
I find it easier to use wearing trainers and not using the pedal straps which I think could be better designed.

The display could be improved. You can't really tell what units are being used. It would be nice to see Km clearly displayed for distance or RPM clearly displayed for speed. The scan feature changes between different displays and shows a bunch of numbers changing so not really useful. I manually set it to distance each time I start to pedal and keep it at that.

I bought this bike for work. I have my own office and keep it under the desk. Ecery few hours I will drag it out and cycle mildly for a few minutes. I found it helps with my energy levels and eliminates back pain. I keeps track of tge distance, time and calories burnt. How accurate it is is obviously impossible to say. However, i don't gave it for calories or distance but to help with general energy levels and back pain. When I received it it was clear it was a used unit. I called the seller and they were absolutely amazing. They refunded me £16 and I kept the bike. The bike and the service is great. I have other products from them and every time they have been amazing. They even supplied me with new peddles at a great discount. This unit is very heavy. But, it's great a fantastic product. This is the BEST portable bike I have ever had and I have had a few. I amslso a cyclist using an indoor exercise Bike. This is a PERFECT addition for my health. Give it a try. It will help if you use it at work if you have your own office. This will be fantastic if you sit on a chair at home watching the TV and cycle. I can tell you now it will help you lose weight and drastically improve your metabolism.

Took a gamble for cardio reasons and it paid off

I agonised over the model I wanted to purchase as I wanted something small and easy to store, but only really saw reviews for rehabilitation purposes so I was worried that I may be spending money on something that would only benefit those needing a very low intensity (to confirm, I agree that this could be very beneficial for this reason as the low settings are nice and low). I'm late 20s, <60kg, female, with no bike use for many years and wanted to supplement my weightlifting with cardio without having to go outside and run.
Again, no recent biking experience so I'm a bit untrained but I found level 3 can get my heart rate up into the fat burning zone and my legs felt they were working hard when pedalling at a moderate-high speed. Beyond that I imagine I can get a really good session in once used to it. After an hour's use, I didn't feel any heat had been generated as far as the case was concerned. Level 8 seems to imitate uphill intensity on a regular push bike quite well.
In terms of noise, it's not silent but it is the volume you would expect - very quiet, consistent whirring. If someone else in an office were using one of these I might be a bit miffed but would be able to adjust within a few minutes. It makes the odd clunk but that is also quiet and seems to happen on low speeds at low intensity.
It keeps my feet busy and provides me with movement and exercise at my desk when at home. When sat positioned over the unit, it doesn't slide. When leaning back, it/my chair/both? slide on a wooden floor if not going at a low pace.
Setting up was easy, a few nuts and bolts and wrestling foot straps on but didn't take long and was very intuitive.
Can't speak for the display as I didn't even bother with batteries; I just use my Fitbit to measure activity as metrics I care about such as calorie burn aren't customisable on almost any machine like this and are set to a height/weight measurement unknown to me.
I've written this review after <24 hours of ownership and about 2 hours of total use so can't speak to longevity but I would definitely say that if you have concerns over this being fit for purpose it should tick the boxes you need whether for very casual, light use or for some more intense work.
Hopefully my review has been comprehensive enough - I chose this over a £35 friction-based unit and I don't have any regrets.
