I bought this for coffee beans, and initially looked up what is needed to store coffee beans properly.
Important for me was:
1: that it was big enough for the amount of coffee to be stored ( holds 1kg of our beans easily)
2: it allows co2 to " offgas", which it does.
3: it keeps the coffee beans dry and away from oxygen, it does.
4: easy to use ( I can operate this one handed).
And nice to have was that it matched some of the other Coffee paraphernalia, which in a gloss black, it does.
It is also easy to clean and tidy s higher than wide so takes up less valuable counter space than some others we looked at.
