Bought to review a lifetime's worth of old slides, after looking at various other options, and it's proved to be worth every penny - it's well-made, gives clear pictures with good magnification, has easy loading and ejection (8-10 slides into the receiving tray, depending on the thickness of the slide mount) and I experienced no jamming. Haven't used the negative viewing facility, but see no reason why it shouldn't be as good as the standard drop-in slide mechanism. Came with batteries but used USB cable to my laptop for power. Just opened the box and was into viewing in seconds. Excellent value for money and does exactly what it claims. Would recommend to anyone.
