Haven't had it long but so far it's great. I use it primarily for long journeys from London to outside of London.
Pros:
- Easy to assemble. Wheels go one with a long screw and nut
- 2 Side pockets & front velcro pocket are very useful and quite deep. I put my 2.2L water bottle in the side pocket.
- Zipped pocket at the back very handy for quick access items like wallet, keys, hand gel, tissues etc.
- Frame is sturdy enough so far - time will tell
- Soo easy to climb stairs with and go down. The 6 wheels makes it much easier, and less strain on the lower back.
- Easy to get about with. I use it on London public transport; buses and the underground tube, and on national rail journeys hundreds of miles heading out of London.
- Can take it onto the escalators (make sure to hold it in place on a step either in front or behind you).
- And if no lift or escalators at the train station it's super easy to use the stairs cos of the 6 wheels.
- Large capacity inside, can fit a fair bit in there.
- Fabric itself is thick and strong, very durable.
- Wheels can be replaced easily if they were to break down.
Cons:
- Cannot roll from platform to train or vica versa as the small wheels will get stuck between the gap.**
**Altho for me this isn't a problem as I can lift it about an inch from the ground and move it. My best advice here is to find the disabled wheelchair section on the platform to board as the train and platform are usually the same level so it's much easier to get the trolley on and off. Please DO NOT roll it straight on!
In regards to getting on and off National Rail trains and alike, you will have to fully lift it on and off as the height varies between stations. If you're unable to, ask someone to help you or a staff member at the station.
Overall I really like this trolley. It's sturdy and better than any trolley I've ever owned. And the pro's definitely outweigh the one con I've found but I myself can live with that.
