I am using this tool with a garden shredder combo. I just cut the branches with this tool and shred and dispose them. It’s a very capable tool and cutting branches frighteningly good and fast.

You need very careful what you are cutting with this one. If it cannot cut the branches at first time just give it another go and it will do the job for you.

Brushless motor is a big plus and I hope it will long last.

I'll still wear my Felcos but for pruning jobs, roses, dogwood, Wisteria (though I haven't tried it on pruning at detail with tiny buds yet) but I think I can safely say most things, it'll be a Kebtec in my hand. It's light enough, I wouldn't go for the next one up. I have no idea how reliable it will be, but as a new tool, it's a thumbs up!

This product is amazing. Today I cleared a thicket of overgrown dogwood with stems from 5mm to 30mm, and chopped up all the debris. Not tired, no hand or arm strain, no blisters. It replaced my loppers as well as my secateurs so saved masses of time having to switch between tools. Very very easy.

At just under 1kg including battery it is heavier than secateurs but there is no effort to cut so as soon as you start work the weight becomes irrelevant. I was worried it would be bulky but mostly it’s not a problem and it cuts so easily that if space is tight you just work your way in with multiple cuts.

The instructions are rubbish. I couldn’t work out how to turn it on. My husband is used to power tools and he worked it out. Then I couldn’t turn it off and had to ask for help again! Once you know how it’s straightforward.

Update 9 months later - still going strong, never needed the second battery, several of my colleagues on a volunteer footpath group have now purchased their own set (I wish I was on commission!). The only problem is that they don't like cutting wire and I now have a chipped blade.
