The Neewer Car Window Mount is one smooth operator. Beautifully constructed from metal and ABS plastic and weighing in at 11.52oz/328g it's perfect for mounting any camera or spotting scope to your car window.

You may be thinking that it has been designed for lazy people - why not just get out of the car and use a tripod?
Many reasons:
Birds and wildlife in general rarely pay attention to inanimate objects, cars included, so if you can get within viewing distance of your subject you can use your car as a mobile hide.
Speed - Imagine driving down a country road and a beautiful view with a striking sunset or cloud scape comes into view. By the time you have got out of your car, retrieved and setup a tripod the magic moment could have past, the Neewer window car mount can be setup in seconds giving you much more chance of capturing that magic moment.
Weather - Do you really want to get soaking wet or freeze to the bone for your hobby? The window mount is ideal for astronomers waiting for a break in the clouds so they can view some celestial object.

The mount is simple to use. Screw the removable handle into the mount. Slip the mount over the window and tighten. Screw the removable base plate to the standard 1/4 inch tripod socket of the camera, spotting scope or telescope. Reinstall the base plate + equipment on to the mount and lock securely and that's the setup done.
The unit has a very smooth 360° pan head and can be tilted 120° and locked at the desired angle by twisting the removable handle.

The Neewer Car Window Mount is an excellent piece of kit for any photographer, bird watcher or astronomer who has a car. Do yourself a favour and keep one handy in your glove box.

I have a few Neewer products and so far, all have been very well made and of good quality. This is of no exception; it is a very solid sturdy camera mount which slips onto your car window. It is quite weighty for an aluminium alloy of this size which is a further indication of its quality.

The mount is designed to clip onto your partially wound down car window, which is very handy so you can sit in the comfort of your vehicle whilst using your camera or spotting scope etc.

It has the standard ¼” threaded screw for the bottom of your camera / scop and clips securely over your wound down window. There is even a spirit level to help with levelling your camera to give you good level shots. The mount can tilt through 120° and a twist of the handle locks it into position and you also have a 360° pan. The only slight downside is that the spirit level gets covered by the body of the camera which makes it difficult to see, but if you need perfectly level shots, you can set the mount level then attach the camera as it has a quick release plate that fixes to the camera and slides onto the mount.

I've tried / tested / reviewed a number of Neewer items in the last few months and I am still impressed by the quality of the item, the materials used are good quality, the item is finished well and does exactly what it says it will. This is no different - a very sturdy window mount I tried with my old Canon 5DIII - now one of my cars has frameless front windows, so they can flex a bit with something like this mounted, but not too much that it worried me, but it felt more solid and at a more comfortable height in another car with full frame windows. Overall I'm very happy with the product and I think as time goes on I will find more and more uses for it!

I recently review another Neewer product and I was skeptical that it would support a DSLR, I tried it anyway and it held. With this Mount / holder I had zero doubts it would hold my camera, it so solidly built.

I not sure of the usefulness of the 2 spirit levels on the holder, as when my camera is mounted on the holder, I can’t see the level, unless you are supposed to get it level, then attach the camera. Once attached to a car window, the panning and tilting is very smooth, in fact almost silky smooth.

If you need the ability to pan and tilt from a vehicle, I’ve no hesitation in recommending this holder from Neewer.

I recently review another Neewer product and I was skeptical that it would support a DSLR, I tried it anyway and it held. With this Mount / holder I had zero doubts it would hold my camera, it so solidly built.

I not sure of the usefulness of the 2 spirit levels on the holder, as when my camera is mounted on the holder, I can’t see the level, unless you are supposed to get it level, then attach the camera. Once attached to a car window, the panning and tilting is very smooth, in fact almost silky smooth.

If you need the ability to pan and tilt from a vehicle, I’ve no hesitation in recommending this holder from Neewer.

This is brilliant for many uses, I do a lot of automotive photography and rolling shots are a common request so thought it would be a perfect time to test the windows mount, as you can see from the results it's absolutely great for it, it's well made too and is very adjustable and also has a bubble level so I know my shots are level which saves cropping in post-production.

Overall, a great bit of kit, and if like me automotive rolling shots are on your to-do list, buy this, absolutely a must-have in my kit from now on.

Great little device. This window mount is perfect but make sure you fit properly on the window, push the clamp down as far as it will go so it’s spread across the glass. The mount holds firmly and it’s easy to mount my camera to the screw fitting. Suitable for other things too like telescope on binoculars with screw fitting. It’s easy to adjust and can be tightened to keep steady. Great quality and great value for money. Very happy with this.
