We¡¯ve recently redecorated our living room, and have enjoyed accessorising it with interesting items; however, we were never quite satisfied with our table lamps. When we came across this lamp, we immediately recognised it as a statement piece, and we weren¡¯t wrong. We purchased two, placing them on opposite sides of the living room, and family and friends have not stopped commenting on them. Mission accomplished! And, besides looking great, you only have to touch them lightly to turn them on and off! No more reaching down the power cable to turn the lamps on or off! They also come with a three way bulb for three levels of brightness for that perfect amount of light! The lamps in our living room were the last things we needed to address before we could feel like the room was finally finished, so these lamps were an excellent find.
We enjoy accessorising our rooms with items that are both functional and tastefully artistic. These lamps fit the bill as they make a statement without being overstated. And, best of all, they¡¯re extremely well made very reasonably priced!
The lamps arrived in a flat-ish box, so I was like, ¡°What about the lamp shade?! What¡¯s happening here?!¡± To my surprise, the lamp shade is shipped flat to be assembled! But don¡¯t be alarmed because it¡¯s extremely well crafted, and assembly is super easy. And if you take your time, and do it properly, no one will ever know that it use to be flat! I was extremely impressed with this. Also, the style and design of the lamp shade adds to the overall panache of the lamp.
I do have an issue though. I understand that these lamps are being marketed as bedside table lamps, which is why they put charging ports on them; however, we feel that they unnecessarily limit their use to just the bedroom. Instead, I feel they should be offered with or without charging ports.
One more thing: For our living room, I felt they would look better in black. My wife wasn¡¯t too sure until I painted them, using Polar satin finish spray paint for metal. Now they¡¯re absolutely perfect! And of course my wife agrees. Also, the black charging port all but disappears as a result of the whole lamp being painted black!
