The clamp is heavy. Works well. The multiple angle options was necessary for our dashcam that only comes with a top mount.

So, we clamped it into the top mount. The windshield on our Wrangler is small. The dashcam now is mounted on..... the dash. Lol

Our extreme hot to colder climate in the Midwest doesn't work well with glass mounted suction cups or tape. The Vector dash bar allows the clamp to grab nicely.

The clamp's grab-surfaces swivel to accommodate different shapes and sizes. Each has a tiny rubber pad, plus two more rubber pads on the jaws of the clamp to correspond exactly where it meets our 1 inch dash bar.

We recommend this clamp based on quality, versatility, adjustability, materials and price.
