  • DIAGNOSE ENGINE LIGHT FAULTS: This OBDII reader determines the root cause as to why your engine light is showing. This reader provides generic and manufacturer-specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) so you can resolve the issue. It also determines malfunction indicator lamp (MIL), reviews emission readiness status and retrieves VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on 2002 and newer vehicles that support ‘mode 9’.
  • EASY-TO-USE: This OBDII reader features a classic design and two-button operation. One button for finding your desired function/desired and the other for selecting the function. Suitable for home and professional use.
  • PLUG & PLAY: No battery is required; just plug straight into your vehicle’s OBDII connection point. This device is compatible with petrol vehicles from 1996 onwards and diesel vehicles from 2004 onwards that are OBDII compliant. It is also compliant with CAN compliant cars. For your vehicle to be OBDII/CAN compliant, it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) port.
  • BACKLIT LCD DISPLAY: The reader’s LCD displays provide clear diagnostic information. The display is backlit, so you can use it at night.
  • COMPACT SIZE: Length: 120mm (4.7”), Width: 65mm (2.6”), Height: 21mm (0.83”)

Product description

An advanced OBD II vehicle diagnostic reader that comes with a TFT colour display. Suitable for all kinds of users, including roadside mechanics, garage mechanics, and home mechanics. The tool provides clear Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) readings to pinpoint the reason why the engine light is showing. It shows you both generic and manufacturer specific code readings, as well as determining the malfunction indicator light (MIL) and reviewing emission status for compliance with government legislation. What’s more, the tool gives live vehicle data readings, and there’s a “Code Lookup” feature that provides a clear explanation of the diagnostic codes. The tool also runs a number of diagnostic tests, such as the O2 sensor test, I/M readiness test, and EVAP test. No batteries are required to operate the reader. Just connect the OBD II connection point. The tool is compatible with all vehicles that are OBD II compliant (including CAN). The product is supplied with an in-depth user manual that explains generic diagnostic codes and operation instructions. Not compatible with motorcycles and hybrid and electric vehicles.
