We’ve been frustrated having to buy expensive HP cartridges for our HP8710.
For the last few years as all the compatible cartridges we used to buy never worked.
Not any more, we reset our printer to factory defaults, turned off firmware updates and then installed the new cartridge.
Apart from a snarky message from the printer that said it didn’t recommend using non HP cartridges it worked straight away!
Finally reasonably priced printer cartridges- delighted! Highly recommended.
