5.0 out of 5 stars Soft texture aside, this is a high quality controller for Xbox and PC!
This controller really stands out and has a design that closely resembles the original Xbox controllers. The overall feel of the controller is amazing, with a shape that fits comfortably in your hands, buttons that feel great to press, and a level of responsiveness that is top-notch. However, the texture might require some getting used to. Instead of the typical hard plastic found on many controllers, it has a soft silicone-like surface on the front, which is quite different.

4.0 out of 5 stars great for pc gaming
The sticks, buttons, and triggers all feel very premium. Even the D-Pad is surprisingly good. The corners dig into my thumb a bit, however.
The texture of the grip is weird to me, but others may like it. (It's like a DualShock 4 but rubbery.) The softer front is nice, but it seems to scratch easily.
The included USB cable appears to be well-insulated and is generously long.
I plugged the controller into my laptop, and it was recognized immediately. (It shows up as an Xbox One Controller for Windows.) Both input and haptics worked just fine. I was even able to map the shoulder buttons to the extra paddle buttons. (Why are paddle buttons not a standard by now? They're amazing!)
The manual mentions you can change the LED effects on the controller, but I couldn't get that feature to work. It's possible the model I have doesn't support it. There's an EVOL-X Pro Light controller that has multiple LED's.
At $40, this is a pretty decent controller with quality parts. I wish it was also wireless for the money, but it works well enough for PC gaming.

3.0 out of 5 stars feels off
Feel is everything for me and this one just does not fit the bill. It reminds me of the xbox 360 controller but with fatter handles which really does not match good in my opinion. The buttons all feel cheap and the bumpers are barely passable. The joysticks are slippery. On the good side of things the back is textured for grip. The front has a rubber coating that will wear off shortly. Please stop putting this on controllers. The paddles on the back are easily reached and passable. Overall this controller is not bad value if your really trying to save money and need paddles. As for me the controller has been relegated to the friend zone. As in the friends can use it when they come over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Worthy of being Officially Licensed by Xbox
This controller has a very good quality feel to it, functions as intended and works with both the Xbox One and PC (windows) platforms. However, it is slightly bigger than the official Xbox One controller.
The controller has a nice smooth rubber like feel on the face of the controller, which helps with grip. The buttons are smooth, and the control sticks are responsive and precise; almost nearly similar to that of an official controller. The controller is strictly plug and play, but the cord is basically a long USB C cord that plugs into both the console/computer and into the controller itself. The back buttons can be useful for some games, and can be remapped/programed for your needs.
The only small issue that I see with the controller is that it's slightly bigger than an official controller. When I first used it, it was a bit awkward to use at first, but over time I've gotten used to it. This might be an issue for those with smaller hands, such as children. The price for the controller is a little higher than those wired alternatives on the market, but the quality that this controller gives makes up for most of it.
Overall, this controller is great in quality, it works, plays well and is very solid feeling, definitely worthy being officially license by Xbox.

4.0 out of 5 stars Longer grips than a standard Xbox controller, otherwise all good
This NACON Evol-X Pro controller for Xbox/Windows is a solid controller. I have larger hands, and this controller even feels a little wonky to me. There’s no issues I encountered with the sticks, buttons, or triggers. The face of the controller has a like rubbery soft texture, and the rear is a textured plastic. The NACON packaging was very good, perfect cutout for controller within the box so it doesn’t move around while in transportation. A lot of thought and effort was put into that.
I used the controller via USB-C to my Windows PC. I play rocket league, and I’m around GC 1-2 to qualify what I’m saying.
The big difference in feel from a standard Xbox controller comes from what I believe is either elongated grips, or perhaps a thicker body of the controller, or both. It feels a little awkward to hold, but the functionality was for me 95% there. Rocket league requires precision, and this controller delivered as long as I managed to get my fingers in the right spot. It’s difficult changing controllers, and I wish this one made it a little easier and tried harder to get the size more spot on.
If you feel an Xbox controller is too small, this may be for you.
