This cold shoe adapter is made entirely of metal, solid cold steel. It is secure, precisely manufactured and the high quality that I have come to expect of NEEWER. While it may be a pricey adition to your camera frame, an adapter is a neccessity and I would trust NEEWER to deliver every time and for every occasion, rather than cheaper inferior products.

As always the item arrived in the professional and functional high quality Neewer packaging.

Although at first glance this seems like a very basic and simple device, the design means that it can be fitted in a multitude of locations and add extra functionality to older systems.

Built to the usual very high Neewer standard, the cold shoe is manufactured from well machined aluminium and features a black anodised finish.

The shoe comes with 2 1/4" attachment screws and also a small M2.5 locating screw.

An easy upgrade for older equipment.

This is one of those widgets that is just useful to have, and while if you're looking at this listing you probably already know what it is, it's a very flexible bit of kit.

You can do the obvious stuff like mounting a strobe or other bits of equipment to a tripod, but there are lots of little details that make it more useful. There are slots to allow straps to be placed through, so you can use this thing to mount equipment in places you can usually do so. For example, a long bit of webbing and you can mount your lighting to a tree branch, or to a bag strap, or whatever your imagintion can think of. There is a catch in the hotshoe part to prevent things falling out.

Build quality is excellent. It fees solid and extremely well made, and everything is smooth and well finished. It's an expensive widget, but the attention to detail is high and you can see where the money goes. If you need one of these, this is excellent.

Neewer are a well known brand for inexpensive camera frames and accessories.

This is one of those things that if you need it, you need it. It allows a cold shoe mount to be screwed, strapped or any other combination of attached to various frames or devices. Price tag is somewhat steep but Neewer's quality never lets you down, solid aluminium construction, nice powder coating and a modular design ethos which allows for you to customise your camera rig how you need it.

You know if you need one of these, and you can't go wrong with the Neewer ones.

I've been using Neweer items like this cold shoe in my campervan build for attaching the cold shoe into various locations for video/camera/projector equipment.

The quality to date has always been great, really solidly made item. Making it easy to fix into my van for a secure & strong mounting point. I like the addition of the small clip which you must operate to release what ever you've attached to the cold shoe.

It's also handy having the strap holes so I can mount onto hiking gear. Thus giving me a location to hang action cameras etc.

Great item. The price seems reasonable. Always good to buy it right first time versus not.
