I’ve been using these in my FX3. The great thing is you don’t get a warning about using third party batteries with them, and also they lasted around 3 to 4 hours each on a recent film shoot, which for the price is great! They give an accurate percentage, though it drops faster in the bottom part of it! The usb charging on the battery is a nice feature, but they work fine in the original Sony charger too, so I’ve been using that!

PROS
-charges with built-in USB-C port at 9.7W (4.85V 2.0A)
-includes dual-head USB-C cable
-very convenient to be able to charge via USB-C, instead of requiring a dedicated charger (or even charging in camera, even though that’s faster)
-same capacity as my original Sony batteries (impressive, seeing as these ones also need to include the charging electronics and the USB-C port)
-fit my Sony A7IV just fine, and no battery warnings (my other 3rd party batteries cause the camera to give a warning)
-LED charging indicator

CONS
-I have other 3rd party batteries with greater capacity (so I need to choose each time I need to go into the field: greater capacity, or really easy charging?)
-no capacity indicating LED

NOTES
-the fastest way (that I have) to charge a NP-FZ100 battery is inside my Sony A7IV camera (which charges these batteries at 15.2W aka 8.9V at 1.7A), then comes the internal USB-C port (9.7W) and then my (admittedly low-end) charger, which only charges one of these batteries at 6.8W. But I only have one A7IV, so the internal USB-C charging is still really convenient.

MY STAR RATINGS:

ENEGON are a fairly well known battery brand, certainly one you can trust as a third party battery supplier for your Sony camera. This is often an observation made by people who want a battery that is compatible which these are - there are no error messages when using these batteries in my Sony a7iv.

They're 2,250mAh which is a good capacity. I have two 2,500mAh third party batteries which serve me well for a day of tourist stuff so I know these will satisfy my needs.

What's really great now is I have a charge dock for my 2x batteries I already own, but now I can charge 4 batteries at once as these have a direct USB-C interface.

You get a funky cable which is 1 standard USB-A to a double ended USB-C. This is really good for the simple fact you only need one cable instead of two.

The batteries have visual cues in the form of an LED to tell you whether it's charging or charged.

Batteries arrived well packed in a cardboard box bearing the Enegon branding.

In the box you get two Sony A type compatible batteries and a short USB A to 2 USB C charging cable.

Batteries are rated at 2280mAh so have a slightly larger capacity than the Sony originals.

Well finished and moulded with no rough edges or moulding flash and both batteries fitted into my Sony A9 neatly and without any obvious slop.

Batteries charged quickly using a standard 5w phone charger and in use there is no noticeable difference in power discharge from the Sony originals.

Good value for a set of two.
