I've been taking Omega 3 oil supplements for several years, due to the health benefits. Usually that has been fish oil, and I was delighted to have the chance of trying this krill oil supplement - not something I've had before.
These are easy to swallow gel capsules that appear to be good quality, and the small number of items in the ingredients list is encouraging, as is the UK location of the company making them. Krill is a small ocean dwelling crustacean that looks like a mini shrimp. Unlike fish oil, which is yellow in colour, krill oil has a reddish tone. It is also reputedly easier to assimilate, with certain other benefits too. I'm not qualified to make medical claims so I will leave you to do your own research from trusted sources.
The capsules are individually blister packed, and can be taken as either one or two per day. If you take one per day as I do, this packet will last you 56 days, or almost two months. I think that's good value, and I appreciate the high quality of the product. I'll be happy to order more when my current supply run out. As with all supplements, consult your pharmacist before consuming if you are taking any prescribed medication, or you have a chronic health condition.
