These 115mm sanding flap-disks do their job brilliantly. I've used many flap-disks over the years and find these as good as any I've used. They work really well with my Dewalt battery angle grinder, and I use them for most jobs where I previously used an orbital sander. Very effective at shifting a huge amount of wood when sanding down old roof joists. With 40 in the pack these are a true bargain and will last many years.

I do a lot of woodworking and metal projects in my garage, and I'm always burning through sanding discs. These have held up way better than my usual brand. Grits are accurate, they wear evenly, and the price is just right. I'm especially happy with how smoothly they've worked on metal. If you do a lot of grinding, these are a solid choice.

Angle grinders are useful tools used chiefly for abrasive cutting and polishing. However, they are more versatile tools than that, with sharpening, grinding away excess materials, cutting away metal quickly, cutting through tiles, stone and concrete, removing mortar to allow re-pointing, and stripping paint and rust, and even for woodwork. That wide range of jobs requires different grades of disc suited to the job, and this Meff-Mluk™ box of different grade Angle Grinder Discs offered for review under the ��غ�� Vine programme certainly offers that versatility. A huge 40 discs are included in a plain cardboard box:

• 20 @ 40 grit
• 10 @60 grit
• 5 @ 80 grit
• 5 @ 120 grit

Angle grinders come in different sizes, but the most common ones are 4” and 4½” – these are 4½” so suitable for many makes. Whilst different kinds of disc are available these are specifically ‘Flap discs’. A flap disc is made up of many layered, overlapping sections of abrasive material or ‘flaps’ bonded to a backing plate, hence the name. This however also means they this set specifically aren’t recommended for use on concrete or stone grinding, but that’s no major issue to me. The product information states these are made of hard zirconia material designed to last longer than standard aluminium oxide abrasive material more commonly seen elsewhere; which means you are getting extra longevity for your money. At £29.99 for the set that’s just 75p a disc, which I think is excellent value and cheap enough to be treated as a consumable item. In use they wear evenly and do a great job. Having a selection of grades to hand is a lovely feature of the set. I think this is a great value set offering a lot of use.

Great quality pads. Good selection of grades. Good fit on grinder. Work well. So far I have used to sand down rough cuts on landscaping logs (retaining log wall/planter), and to strip paint off my aluminium decked lawnmower. Worked an absolute treat in both scenarios. Decent value set. Very pleased with them.
