Don't get me wrong. For it's price it works very well. The pass through video signal has a very small lag and small drop in quality. You will feel it in first person shooters but it's useable. To record 4k 60fps you will need a powerful computer. my mac m1 air can do only 2k 60fps recording. Would be nice if there would be an internal recording option to mitigate that issue. but overall is a very good capture card i don't think there is anything better for the price (i bought it when it was discontinued down to ?80)

Installation was really easy. I just connected up everything and it was plug and play.
There were no issues capturing 4K from several of my devices including cameras and microphones.
The resolution is excellent and there was no audio lag or unwanted noise in the streaming.
This is a really excellent capture box that's well worth the asking price.

My son raves about this, he said it is brilliant. He is using it to record his games, and he's now getting into streaming (since we got this card). When I've watched his screen it looks amazing and the colours are vibrant, and there's no lag or I would have heard this downstairs like two weeks ago lol. The unit looks and feels good quality and for him, was easy to set up.

With some help, I have found that I can actually record my screen on my phone, you know when sometimes you just need to capture something. I am now able to use this for recording future meetings to share with a client afterwards so we both know what points were actioned etc.

I have owned a product previously from 'UGreen' which was very good, so I have 'high hopes' for this Video Capture card and the great thing is this does not disappoint.

This model I am reviewing is the CM700, the capture device is compact, the top, front, back and bottom of the shell is made of metal and the sides are vented plastic. It is self powered when connected via USB C to your PC/Laptop. Each of the vented corners have RGB lighting to indicate it's powered on. Once connected to Windows 11, the device was automatically recognised and drivers installed instantly.

Let's make something clear, I am a complete novice towards live streaming or capturing video from consoles, not something I wanted to do previously until now. What I am aiming to achieve is to be able to capture gameplay footage from my Nintendo switch and also be able to display the live game screen/video on my laptop screen. Coming to this as a complete beginner, I thought it was going to be a daunting task. Long story short, it was not hard at all, following the very helpful 'quick setup instruction card', I was guided to download the free OBS Studio software for windows 64bit, installed that. Within 30minutes I had my Nintendo Switch Screen on my monitor, it was excellent video quality with no noticable lag, even when playing the Nintendo Switch Luigi mansion 3 game, using OBS studio on the laptop monitor screen.

Final thoughts: I am extremely happy with this product and its impressively easy in setting up and use. If you are like me and a beginner then you can't go wrong with giving this a try. There is without doubt a plethora of features that the UGreen CM700 has to offers, I will explore that in time. I'd go as far as saying this is a worthy product and could accommodate more advanced pro users.

For now, it did what I needed to do with no prior knowledge, all with minimum fuss, and the recorded video quality that is equal to the original. Excellent and Recommended.

La calidad de la captura y transmisi��n es bastante buena. Lo uso en Xbox y es sencilla de configurar y usar.

La calidad de la construcci��n y los materiales se sienten resistentes. Cumple con el Passthrough a 120hz y no introduce mucha latencia, es como si el monitor estuviera conectado directamente a la consola, (EDIT: Si introduce un poco de latencia, si lo tuyo son los juegos de disparos en primera persona, puede que te afecte un poco, es manejable y uno se termina adaptando, pero en definitiva si hay un lag perceptible en el Passthrough). Sin embargo la vista previa de OBS que muestra la captura en el segundo monitor sufre bastante de bajones en la fluidez. Pero la grabaci��n y el directo no resultan afectados.

Punto negativo #1: El producto asegura ser compatible con VRR, pero al parecer no hay manera alguna de hacerlo funcionar (EDIT: Est�� rara la situaci��n con el soporte de VRR, antes se desactivaba y hab��a tirones con la pantalla, ahora al parecer est�� activado pero deseleccionado, est�� bastante raro esto.) Se pierde la funcionalidad completamente al usar la capturadora. Lo cual encuentro desconcertante. Puesto que sin VRR el gameplay se siente bastante cortado con tirones y m��s que nada porque asegura que S? es compatible con VRR cuando en realidad al parecer NO lo es.

Punto negativo #2: En mis pruebas, el Livestream resultante OBS-YouTube, tiene un desfase de retraso en el audio de entre 2 y 5 segundos. Var��a mucho, y no es consistente. No he encontrado alguna forma de arreglarlo definitivamente. (Tras configurar mucho lo he arreglado, pero deber��a funcionar normalmente tan pronto lo sacas de la caja) Por lo que pienso pudiera ser un error del producto.

Para los que dicen que llega sin servir, existe algo llamado HDCP, es un protocolo de encriptado de la se?al para prevenir la pirater��a. Est�� capturadora Ugreen no captura se?ales protegidas por HDCP. En PlayStation 5 hay que deshabilitarlo primero en las configuraciones del sistema por qu�� viene activado por defecto. En Xbox viene deshabilitado a menos que se inicie una aplicaci��n que lo necesite (por ejemplo Netflix). Investiguen primero antes de saltar a conclusiones b��sicas.

Pienso que si vale la pena por el precio (cuando est�� con el 20% off y caracter��sticas. Pero si se pudiera que solucionen las cosas como que el VRR no funcione en ciertos casos, y el retraso en el audio. Tambi��n no hay forma alguna de desactivar el RGB.

La calidad de la captura y transmisi��n es bastante buena. Lo uso en Xbox y es sencilla de configurar y usar.

La calidad de la construcci��n y los materiales se sienten resistentes. Cumple con el Passthrough a 120hz y no introduce mucha latencia, es como si el monitor estuviera conectado directamente a la consola, (EDIT: Si introduce un poco de latencia, si lo tuyo son los juegos de disparos en primera persona, puede que te afecte un poco, es manejable y uno se termina adaptando, pero en definitiva si hay un lag perceptible en el Passthrough). Sin embargo la vista previa de OBS que muestra la captura en el segundo monitor sufre bastante de bajones en la fluidez. Pero la grabaci��n y el directo no resultan afectados.

Here is my test of the audio input of this video capture card.

1. A USB cable is connected to PC and USB c port of the video capture card; the audio input name appears as HDMI (UGREEN 25173).
2. Mic In and Line in are for external microphones and audio mixers or interfaces, and the audio signal is sent via USB to PC through HDMI (UGREEN 25173).
3. The sound of HDMI in is also sent through HDMI (UGREEN 25173).
4. The sound of HDMI out does not include Mic In and Line in's signal, only as a pass-through of HDMI in.
5. Audio out of the capture card: listen to the audio from HDMI in (not Mic in or Line in).

I did not expect that HDMI (UGREEN 25173) is an audio mixture of HDMI in, Mic in, and Line in. That mixture does not fit in with my purpose.

It works with iPad Pro, when the audio is sent via Mic in or Line in, video and audio sync might be needed by adding delays to the audio recorder.

When the capture card is connected to a device, a starting screen has a "Ugreen" logo, which I personally don't like -- it is best to be a black screen.

Also when there is no signal, I prefer it to be a black screen or a simple logo. Currently, it is in Chinese and English "��ź�" "No signal"
