Was having some issues with my Sonoff Bridge-P so thought as I needed to reset and add all the devices again I would upgrade to the Pro
Unfortunately none of my 3rd party bulbs, zigbee power relay or smart sockets which all worked perfectly with the pro would connect to the Ultra
This rendered the upgrade impossible so I returned to غ — it seems that Sonoff have different groups working on their different Zigbee bridges so there is no consistency when it comes to device compatibility
It is a shame as coverage on the Ultra seems better and it also supports Matter
Update: since writing this I have received huge attention from Sonoff support who have listened to and acknowledged my feedback - they say they are taking it on board and changes could be made in the future
Based on this excellent customer attention and feedback from them I have upped my rating to 3 stars
The Ultra is an excellent device if you are only connecting Sonoff devices - it is better made and has better signal quality than my existing Pro (also an Ethernet port) - if it supported the same 3rd party devices as the Pro it would be a 5 star review
