Tip number 1, don't leave the microphone on when putting it in the holder.

This is not a mini karaoke speaker, it is about a foot in width. This allows it to really make a noise when it wants to. The quality of the songs I played through it seemed pretty good.

I thought that this might be a good distraction that my daughter could use during her birthday party whilst the adults got the next activity ready. The speaker and microphones are all self-powered, but need charging separately (it would have been nice for the microphones to have charged when in the speaker base, but it would have increased cost and complexity). They all charge from a USB cable though, so not exactly difficult to do nowadays.

The speaker is a nice portable unit, with the microphones dropping neatly in to the top of it. There is a handle from which to carry it, and everything seems to fit well and feel secure when in use.

There is a link to the Mr Entertainer website included in the box. This website has various videos that can be used to play through the speaker from your phone or tablet, with the words in sync with your sound/voice. I might have been having a bad day, but there were two things I couldn't get to work with this.
1) A play list, I thought it would have been good to be able to just leave my phone on a stand for my daughter to just sing through a playlist of songs. However as these were embedded videos (and thus didn't have adverts), then it was one video at a time.
2) Whilst testing, I wanted to try and play the video on my TV, and the sound through the speaker. My phone couldn't control the cast to the TV whilst directing the sound via the bluetooth connection to the speaker. I think this is a limitation of what I was trying to do, rather than the speaker.

This karaoke machine has a very premium look to it, with its all black metal looking asthetic and leather like carry handle.
The neon lights are a feature, but personally I prefer to leave it turned off (by long pressing the lights button). It does have other colour modes though that you can cycle through.

This can connect to your devices via aux in cable, bluetoon, USB A or microSD cards. I only tried the bluetooth and aux in interfaces and they worked reasonably well. The provided documentation is minimal but this works in a rather standard way, so didn’t really need to refer to it. Also keep in mind that you wont hear any sound from the mic unless you also connect some device to provide other sound (even if that other sound isnt playing). The speaker is about 110W and fairly loud for a large size living room. However I found that the music it was playing was much softer than the voice. I don’t know if this is due to some kind of vocal cancellation (I did turn that off to try) but this does limit your use of it if you want to use it as just another speaker.

It and the 2 mics it comes with charge with USB C which means most phone chargers around the house should be able to charge them.

It has 2 slots to hold the mics (they don’t charge while in the slot though) and a carry handle for moving the piece around. However, it wouldve been nice if there was an integrated cover to keep out the dust and prevent the mics from falling out if overturned.

But overall, besides the functionality it also looks like a very nice speaker when kept in the room.

Just arrived, looks quality but what a huge disappointment to receive cables only with no plugs at all so you have to hunt around for an ian plug. Plus only one charge cable and all three items in the set need charge! Set up instructions virtually non existent also!!

I recently recieved the Mr. Entertainer Neon Karaoke Machine, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations!

First off, the sound quality is impressive. The wooden cabinet really enhances the audio performance and minimizes distortion, which makes for a much richer sound experience while singing. It’s definitely a level up from some of the cheaper options out there.

The rechargeable wireless microphones are another standout feature. Not having to worry about changing disposable batteries is a huge convenience, and the microphones deliver crystal clear vocals. Plus, with the handy docks for storage on top of the speaker they are easy to keep organized when not in use.

The vibrant LED lighting adds a fun atmosphere to our gatherings. The multi-color front panel really lights up the room and creates a lively party vibe, which is perfect for karaoke nights.
