These capsules come in a pot with a press closure top instead of the more common screw top bottle. It works fine. There are 60 capsules in the pot and they claim to be 80% silymarin though one has no real way to know if this is correct. Having just minutes ago read an article claiming that a high proportion of milk thistle supplements contain no milk thistle at all I find this of concern. Maybe I need to start opening capsules and tasting it.

Assuming these contain the amount stated (having opened a capsule it does look like the milk thistle powder in the previous capsules I have been taking) they seem good value and should last for 2 months.

At time of writing this milk thistle supplement is about £7 for 60 capsules. That might sound fairly expensive, but they are taken in 1s, not in 2s as many supplements seem to be, so this is about a 2 month supply. Add to that the slow-release formulation and it seems a good buy to me. Pleased.

Had to wait a while for delivery, but eventually the tabs came.

I have type 2 diabetes and got these tabs for the claims. To be honest I don't know if they'll do any long term good, but I know milk thistle was recommended to me one time.

Can't do any harm for myself as a supplement, so worth trying them out to be fair.

��غ�� gets a bit funny if you review supplements and bang on about what they're supposed to help you with. I'll try and sum it up in words that nobody can take exception to; milk thistle is supposed to help with the health of your liver, plain and simple. Take a look around the web and see what health claims are substantiated and which ones are to be ignored.

What I can tell you is that these arrived sealed from factory in a resealable container. There's clear labelling on the tub giving the constituent ingredients, strength of the enclosed tablets and dosage instructions. They have a reassuring expiry date too.

They capsules are fairly typical things but they're really easy to take with a sip of water and gave me no aftertaste at all. Be sure your hands are dry when picking them up because the capsule shell dissolves quick quickly and they stick to your fingers.

All in all they seem quite professionally produced and legit.

Been pleasantly surprised by these milk thistle capsules. Really appreciate the high concentration and that I only need to take one per day - much easier than other supplements that need multiple doses. The delayed-release capsules seem gentle on the stomach, no upset at all. Since taking them I've noticed less bloating after heavy meals and feel generally better after nights out. Good to know it's vegan and made by a UK brand. The capsules aren't too big which makes them easy to swallow. Worth the money for the quality and convenience of the once-daily dose. Great alternative if you're looking for liver support.

You need to take one easy to swallow capsule a day, so the tub will last for 2 months. It says that you can take them either in the morning or evening with a small glass of water and ideally with food, so it gives you really good information on how to take these capsules. I take my supplements with my breakfast, so these slot in well with my routine.

I can't detect any odour and they seem tasteless to me, but I don't have the best sense of smell. They don't have an aftertaste.
