| Litter Bag Holder Hoop | Makes litter picking easier by holding your litter bag open. Made in the UK from 100% recycled plastic. The hoop is strong, has a mechanism to prevent the bag slipping, the flat edge makes it easy to lay on the ground and scoop up big bits of litter, the handle is comfortable to hold. It uses less plastic than a traditional round hoop. 36 cms long and 35 cms wide. Weight 0.2kgs. Colour black.

The bag of the mouth is hemmed which prevents fraying and makes opening easy. Made with tough 10x10 weave 800 denier fabric, these woven polypropylene sacks are the best quality.

So we set about creating a litter picking kit to help remove litter. We aimed to make it reusable and recyclable and challenged ourselves to manufacture it locally from recycled plastics wherever possible. We have made great progress towards that goal.
| Instructions | Step 1: Open Hoop | Hold handle with one hand and top of the hoop (by handle) with the other. Pull firmly apart (Requires force) | Step 2: Insert Bag | With hoop open feed the top 2 cms of the bag through the handle side of the hoop. Start at the hinge | Step 3: Close Hoop | Tuck the bag around the hinge ensuring a single layer over the hoop. Pull any slack towards the handle. Close hoop | Step 4: Secure Bag | Apply pressure (Requires force) working your hands around both sides of the hoop to snap 5 internal catches into place.

We challenged ourselves to make it recyclable and sustainable by sourcing locally manufactured parts using recycled plastics wherever possible. I’m really happy with this purchase. it’s an excellent quality litter picking kit also with a bag holder and 2 large bags. This has been so helpful when taking the kids out to do a beach clean and even better to know the bag holder and bags are made from recycled plastic and are reusable so we arent using single use plastic bags.
The picker is long but folds in half which helps with space saving and the type of jaws can pick up small items.
The design of the holder means the bag won’t slip out of the holder with heavy loads, but you do need to press firmly to secure the catches, but there are helpful instructions in the packaging.

Overall it’s great kit and arrived quickly even before Christmas. I’ll be recommending to others to buy this too.

The picker is foldable so takes up less room when not in use, and the jaws can rotate to suit the way you want to pick stuff up. It works well and is easy to use.

Two recyclable bags and a bag holder loop completes the pack.

They all work as intended however I have some concerns over the loop and the picker being able to handle a bag full of heavy objects or pick up heavy objects in the first place (like bricks – yes, we do get them littering our shoreline). The hoop doesn’t seem that strong to me.

This is a great piece of kit to help you clean up the environment, but for a family of four, you’re talking about £120 which is too much in my opinion. I also think the individual price is too high but perhaps an option would be to give a third off for packs of 4 or more perhaps; or something similar.

As an individual purchase, I think this is more that I would want to spend so 3 stars from me. If you could buy with a bulk discount, then perhaps that would make better value for money; perhaps.

My BCHEE is a very well-made product. The litter-bag holder - the hoop with the handle - feels strong and able to support securely a full bag of litter, and without it slipping out.
The reusable bags are made from recyclable materials woven to a tightly meshed recycled plastic.
The instructions are clearly printed with photographs, which makes assembly straightforward. Some pressure is needed to close the hoop securely. I have found it easier to clip in the bag while resting the hoop on a table, or on the boot-sill of the car, for instance.
Best of all is the extremely well-made picker – positive in its action. There is a small but powerful magnet on one side of the picker, too.
