Ours is linked to a Homebase 3, alongside a floodlight PIR camera. We ordered the additional chimes, due to the distance between the HB3 and the end of our bungalow and a deaf hubby. First check on Eufy website as there are compatability issues dependent on which camera and Homebase you have. ��غ�� sold this as a package with the E340. Really simple to install the app, add the cameras and the clarity of image is excellent. The chimes installation instructions miss a stage, but the app is so easy to use we soon worked out the missing stage, which is to go into the camera section and switch on the extra chime. Loads of YouTube vlogs on installation. Also link to Google Home. So much better than our Reolink cameras.
Only reason it wasn't a 5 was needed updating, said it hadn't updated, but I looked at current version and it had installed and app didn't tell us to go into the doorbell cam to complete the step to link the two. Easy to sort out in the end, but spent nearly an hour sorting it out and retesting it until it worked.

I bought this with a Eufy E340 doorbell cam as I didn't want the homebase 3 for video storage and needed a chime as we don't have smart speakers. This does both so is great value for money.
Once set up, it works well and the volume can be adjusted. It can only connect to 1 doorbell at a time and has 8 pre set chimes to choose from.
So far I would definitely recommend this in combination with a doorbell cam and sd card.

This is the best bit of kit out there, period. You can set night mode with infrared or by using the lights on the doorbell, so two totally different ways. This is super useful to get the best picture according to your environment. I think it also does a mix of the two different ways but i have not tried as yet. More detail is given with eufy camera than the close competitor, Ring. I've used both. I must admit that i really do like how the Ring doorbell, when pressed takes over your phone screen when alerting you making it very easy to answer, whereas the Eufy will pop up in notifications so easy to miss a call as not constantly flashing while ringing, more resembling a notification. The eufy has a lot of good stuff going for it as it does everything more refined and better, better thought out system. The only improvement i wished the Eufy had is the way the Ring doorbell Alerts and notifies you.

Though the product itself is very well made and easy to set up, have no issues with that at all and would give 5 stars. I bought mini homebase and a 128GB micro SD so I could record 24/7 which is a feature of my C31 doorbell. This issue is, if you use this as a mini homebase so you events are saved to the SD on the mini-base, the option to record 24/7 is removed from the doorbell. So the only way to record 24/7 is to save the events with the SD card in the doorbell itself, which I didn't want to do in case the doorbell got stolen.

Seems such a shame it cant do this, and its not clear at all on the advert for the doorbell. Eufy have missed trick here.

We've had the door bell unit for a while now and my only gripe is the connection to the Alexa's in our house seems slow to acknowledge the door bell itself.

But this unit fixes that! The bell sounds are much quicker to be announced and the volume is more than enough to be heard anywhere in the house.

My god I hate this thing. I returned one and bought another. It would connect to WiFi but never to the internet and always give me an error. I contacted eufy and white listed ports, went through every imaginable router setting and it still would not work. What a garbage item. I love all my other Eufy products but this one just does not work. Seems like plenty of people have this issue. So I went the uber expensive Homebase route to use as a chime. Get it together Eufy!
