So much nicer looking than the ring doorbell it is replacing, feels so much more solid. Only issue so far was the sticker on the back that must be removed to access wired power and pairing button. I did panic thinking I got the wrong model.

Setup was a breeze, installing the same. Now just to test over a few weeks. But motion sensor and reaction time to being pressed is almost I instantaneous. Got a few friends and family members that have complained about ring and know they will most definetely be converting, especially as there is no need for expensive cloud storage. This is a no brainer purchase.

Looks like a nice piece of well made kit. Set up seemed straightforward until this was tested. With multiple iPhones, it could not be made to notify when the screen was locked, even though this is not an issue with other apps. The solutions offered by the live chat were all our of date for the versions of the app and phones being used and the chat consistently terminated quickly before the offered solutions could be read thru and said to have already been tried and failed. Tried to call the helpline which refused to take calls and referred to email. As a friend had previously had a six month dialogue to get connection issues resolved with other eufy products, I decided to quit. Very happy with the speed that ��غ�� provided a full refund

After this review Anker offered me a full refund, and followed up with instructions on how to alleviate the issues.
I have to say their customer service is top notch.
The issue with the trigger happy alerts has been resolved. Turns out selection of the activity zone needs some knowledge and doesn't work the way you'd expect. (Hopefully Anker fix this with an app update soonish)

My issues have largely been resolved, and I am actually satisfactorily using the product. I am also happy to report that I haven't gone back to the predatory subscription siphoning vulture brand I was using earlier.

I was very hopeful when purchasing this C31 video doorbell but was very quickly disappointed. The daytime image is mediocre, maybe worse than my 1080 2c cameras. No improvement as expected with 2k spec. The night vision is terrible- much worse than my 2c cameras. The only way to improve the night image is to leave the outside light on all night. I will experiment with doorbell position and setting but looks like I will need to return this doorbell.
UPDATE: I have since discovered that if you don’t use ‘Auto Night Vision’ the image improves dramatically - and it is in colour! To be fair Anker have offered me a refund so I have the option to start again. Upgraded from 2* to 3*

I had high hopes for this video doorbell, but have been left bitterly disappointed. It continually drops the connection and I get a pop-up "P2P error" message. I initially thought it might be a problem with my router settings, but having done much searching on the internet it seems this is a common fault with these Eufy video doorbells (I've never had the same problem with other brands). It's absolutely useless and I'm returning it for a refund !

Viele Sachen ( aber nicht alle ), die ich von Eufy testen konnte, waren recht Ordentlich.

So auch die Haustür - Cam.

Gutes Bild, schnelles, problemloses Koppeln, flexibel zu montieren ( mit Rahmen für angewinkelte Ausrichtung 👍 ) und vorallem wirklich annähernd reale Echtzeitverbindung über das Handy.
Gerade bei letztgenannter Disziplin scheiterten bisher fast alle Doorcams, die ich in den Fingern hatte und das waren mittlerweile recht viele.

Qualitativ hochwertig verarbeitet ist das ganze auch.

Die Möglichkeit, die Cam auch permanent mit Strom zu versorgen, hat aber ein paar Merkmale, die man beachten sollte:

Es muss eine Spannung zwischen 9 und 24V Anliegen, es geht wohl DC und AC.

Man sollte beachten, das der ( oft ) hierfür verwendete Klingeltrafo auch den nötigen Strom liefern kann, erst recht, wenn an diesem noch die herkömmliche Klingelanlage dranhängt!

Oft ist die bisherige Klingel und damit auch die Anschlüsse für die Doorcam zu weit unten angebracht, um ein vernünftiges Bild zu liefern.
Somit muss das Kabel zur Stromversorgung nachträglich entweder Aufputz im Kabelkanal oder Unterputz ( mit Aufklopfen der Wand ) zur Cam verlegt werden!
Das sollte man vorher bedenken.

Außerdem muss der Akku der Doorcam dennoch an der Cam verbleiben.
Das sehe ich als Elektroniker ein wenig Problematisch, denn sehr, wirklich sehr oft, habe ich defekte und dem Platzen nahe Lithium Akkus aus Kameras geholt, die ständig am Stromnetz hingen.
Akkus vertragen das nur bedingt über längere Zeit.

Soll nicht heißen, das das bei dieser hier auch passieren muss, aber ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit sollte man dem Thema schon widmen, denn brennende Lithium Akkus sind auch, wenn sie klein sind, eine ganz üble Sache!

Die beigefügten Anschlusskabel für die externe Stromversorgung sind viel zu kurz, um damit Überhaupt etwas anfangen zu können, man sollte also vorher schon passende 2 adrige Leitung besorgt haben. Hierfür reicht auch isolierter Klingeldraht.

Bitte unbedingt darauf achten, das der Trafo auch die richtige Spannung auf der entsprechenden Leitung zur Verfügung stellt.

Wer von soetwas nicht allzuviel Ahnung hat, sollte das aber eher einem Fachmann überlassen, denn an vorhandenen Klingel- und Gegensprechanlagen kann man im Zweifel viel Schaden anrichten!

Ansonsten weiß mich die Klingel wirklich zu überzeugen und das das W-Lan an der Position der Cam auch in guter Stärke und Geschwindigkeit zur Verfügung stehen sollte, ist eigentlich selbstverständlich.

Leider heulen aber immer wieder Bewerter rum, das alles zu langsam sei oder sich nicht vernünftig verbindet usw.
Vielleicht die Schuld nicht immer nur beim Produkt suchen !

Was mich allerdings wirklich stört ist die Tatsache, das auch diese Cam hier ganz einfach mit einem Draht gestohlen werden kann.

Diese Schwäche haben bislang 99% der von mir getesteten Doorcams 😡.
Entweder brauchts eine Büroklammer, die man aufbiegt oder ein Schraubendreher und schon ist die Kamera wech.
Gerade wenn die Cam oder die enthaltene SD-Karte vlt. mal als Beweismittel dienen muss, haben Einbrecher oder Vandalen leider sehr leichtes Spiel der Entwendung.

Fazit: dennoch eine gute, solide Cam zu einem fairen Preis.

Trotz Testmuster Ehrlich und mit Mühe bewertet, weil sonst völlig Nutzlos ☝️!
