  I thought I'd go for this scanner as I expected / hope for a good quality scanner. The results are OK but not fantastic and there is a focussing issue when older slide have become a little bit bowed. The only bit of the kit that didn't;t work was the HDMI cable - I have no reason to believe that it doesn't work but the cable supplied is a normal size HDMI cable but the socket on the scanner is min-HDMI. Time to spend £7.99 on a converter! I should have ordered one of the cheaper scanners (circa £70) and done a comparison before buying this one.
