  One of the clasps on the case came off almost immediately after taking it out of the box. Then when actually using it, it either only makes the sound but doesn't fire out a nail, or it fires one out and then the next one gets blocked. Normally blocked nails wouldn't annoy me this much but instead of a single hook you can very simply unhook with a finger to loosen the nose just enough to remove the stuck nail on a Tacwise, you have to unscrew 4 tiny fiddly screws and take the whole front off the machine for this Katsu. Extremely inconvenient at the best of times but for a machine that has a blocked nail almost every other time - completely unacceptable. Dial on the front is for changing how much depth but it is entirely pointless and barely changes anything. Also extremely heavy and cumbersome to hold compared with other brands. Cheaply made case and machine, faulty, infuriatingly inconvenient and quite frankly unusable machine. MUCH better off with a Tacwise and especially when it's only just a few quid more.
