  The sound quality is very good and the CD player is excellent, however the radio is useless. If you want radio 4 ok but I cannot receive any other stations. I would not recommend this as a radio if that is what you are looking for. Wished I had bought a Sony Which was my last one. Oh and by the way it does not have a remote control.
