  I'm fitting braided brake lines to my HD. Getting a neat cut end saves hours of grief, so I thought I'd give these a try. They cut straight through the line without any distortion or damage to the line. The cutting edges look fine after completing the job. You could do a lot worse (and spend a great deal more) to get the same quality of cut.
