One thing I will say is that the mute mic function didn’t work as I wanted it to. Good working mute functions put the mic at 0, so no sound will go through/get captured. However the mute function on this headset just totally cuts off the mic, so whatever device you’re using will just look for an alternative mic source and capture your voice through that, so you won’t be muted. Depends what device you’re using though of course.
The sound quality and ability to detect where enemy players are when gaming is actually surprisingly good for how cheap this headset is.
It’s not large or goofy looking. I actually use it instead of my much more expensive headset when I’m streaming gaming on camera because it my expensive headset looks quite large and goofy on my small head.
It’s not the most comfortable, the build quality isn’t the greatest, it’s a bit flimsy and cheap feeling. But, no parts of it have broken so that’s good.
