This rope is extremely light weight and I feel is therefore more suited to high speed skipping. Try to slow down to use anything other than the standard jump eg boxer step and the rope takes on a life of its own, flexing into loops and catching on your feet.
Quality wise, the one I purchased had one bearing that graunches as if it has rough bearings in that handle, (the other was as smooth as silk). This didn't really affect the use, but you can feel an irritating vibration in one hand. Not what you would expect from a quality rope. So in brief if all you want to do is a high speed skip as a work out this may suffice, however I feel that the cheaper ropes made available in the gym perform far better at all speeds, so save you money and buy a cheaper rope my current one cost £7.99 and is far more controllable. You can always work up to something better if you feel you need it , but don't assume that because it is expensive it is good, because it is not always the case. regards Mike (purchased on my wifes account)
